Discovery Health Partners is looking for a Project Manager.  Successful candidates will:

  • Lead planning and/or implementation of internal or external customer projects to achieve on time delivery of services
  • May participate in business requirements and/or testing phases
  • Chair and maintain ownership of Project Status Calls
  • Coordinate and provide input into technical discussions and solutions
  • Ensure customer expectations are fully understood and adjusted as needed throughout the implementation
  • Maintain a high level of milestone and status communication tailored to each Customer’s expectations
  • Proactively anticipate, identify and mitigate project risk and uncertainty
  • Assume responsibility for problem solving and manage until resolved

  • Strong analytical skills, including strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Conveys goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; interprets verbal and non-verbal messages that others communicate; produces clear status reports; communicates tactfully and candidly
  • Proficient with MS Office and MS Project
  • Business degree with an emphasis in information systems
  • Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience as a project manager
  • Experience in healthcare with claims payment systems a plus
