Outbound Call Center

 

Division: Discovery Health Partners

This is a production-based position where the employee is responsible for conducting a large number of outbound calls to determine if there is recovery potential. The individual must be able to gather all of the applicable facts and note them in a concise manner. Other responsibilities include imaging documents, processing incoming and return mail, retrieving mail from the mailroom, data entry, and miscellaneous projects, as needed.

Responsibilities and job functions

  • Making a high volume of outbound telephone calls
  • Using tools to research telephone numbers and address
  • Data entry
  • Retrieving , imaging and prioritizing the daily incoming mail
  • Gather adjuster information from insurance companies
  • Call third parties to see whether accidents are reported
  • Search for police reports
  • Process claim payment database queries
  • Search insurance claim database queries
  • Open files in home application
  • Process return mail

Position requirements

  • Typing skills of a minimum of 45 wpm
  • An energetic and friendly telephone demeanor
  • The ability to ask questions to uncover the information needed
  • Basic knowledge of working computers/scanners
