Office Assistant

Responsible for maintaining all aspects of office operations: receiving and distributing communications; maintaining supplies and equipment; picking-up and delivering items; greeting guests; meeting coordination.

Responsibilities and job functions

  • Filing
  • Accurately and efficiently prepares and distributes letters, reports, spreadsheets and other materials
  • Compiles data and statistics
  • Calculates, corrects and distributes information as required
  • Investigates and corrects clerical discrepancies
  • Provides professional receptionist services by greeting, screening and directing visitors
  • Establishes, organizes and maintains records and files
  • Assists office manager with daily tasks as needed
  • Travel arrangements
  • Other functions as required by management

Position requirements

  • Data entry with high degree of accuracy
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Filing and organization
  • Work requires ability to read, write and speak English well enough to complete assigned tasks and communicate effectively
  • Working hours are 9-6PM, Monday – Friday

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
