Responsibilities and job functions

  • Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support
  • Capability in reviewing and documenting business process and creating financial models in support the business process
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
  • Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting
  • Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, and recommending actions
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data, making comparative analyses, and study proposed changes in methods and materials
  • Increases productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools
  • Market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps

Position requirements

  • Must have strong analytical ( quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models, prior data mining and on line market research
  • Self starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
  • Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
  • Familiarity with data query and data management tools (Access, SQL, LogiAnalystics) extremely helpful
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
  • Healthcare, IT, software, and technology experience a plus
  • Data quality and validation processes
  • Strong financial modeling experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
